On the second Wednesday evening of each month, anywhere from 4-10 guys meet in the large room in the lower level of FSC to play cards and discuss a variety of topics. We start the evening off with an hour or so of playing poker. During the play, conversation is spiced with the jovial bantering and friendly teasing that is often associated with playing cards.
Around 8:00 or 8:30 p.m. we put away the cards, take down the tables, and form a circle for the discussion part of the evening. The topic of conversation is established by the group of guys with each person having an opportunity to suggest a topic for the group to address. Some of the topics we have discussed in the past include: "Is there a time where cheating or deceit is acceptable? What is the most memorable time you spent with your father? Would you support a federal flat tax? What is the best gift you ever gave to your spouse/partner? How do you define/experience God?"
