The Religious Services Committee, (RSC),  is a diverse group of FSC members committed to helping make the FSC experience better for everyone who attends Worship Services at FSC. The RSC is responsible for the process which leads to the Summer Chapel Series that is presented during the summer.  The 10-week series involves speakers who are FSC members, as well as non-members.  At least one RSC member is on-hand at each of the Summer Services to help ensure a comfortable environment for all in attendance, including our Guest Speaker each week. The RSC is also charged with doing its best to see that certain issues are addressed throughout the year with respect to all of the Worship Services at FSC.  We want you to know who we are because we are interested in knowing what you have to say about the Worship Services at FSC!  If you have feedback and/or comments which you believe may be helpful in shapping better Worship Services at FSC, we want to hear from you!  You may share your comments with us in person, or submit your comments through the Church Office to the attention of "The Religious Services Committee".  The RSC will not share comments outside of the Committee referencing any individual as having shared their opinion(s).  We will be wearing name badges soon, which indicate that we are RSC members, but many of you already know some, or all, of us.

 

The RSC is accepting suggestions for speakers in the Summer Chapel Services this year.  If you wish to put forth a name, please e-mail Sarah Swaney at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  Please include your name, the name of the person you would like to suggest, and a brief explanation regarding why you believe this person would be a great addition to the Summer Speaker line-up.  Alternatively, if you would like to submit a Summer Speaker suggestion in hardcopy form, please include your name, the potential speaker's name, and a brief explanation; then, simply seal the suggestion in a small envelope and place the envelope in the locked box outside the Church Office.  Please be sure to write, "Attention RSC Summer Speakers" on the envelope.  A suggested Summer Speaker submission does not in anyway guarantee the potential speaker will be contacted and/or offered the opportunity to speak as part of the Summer Service Series here at FSC; suggestions will be kept confidential within the RSC and speaker names will be made public only after the summer line-up has been established.  If the RSC contacts someone to offer them the opportunity to speak, but they decline, this information will be kept confidential within the RSC.  Please do not contact the RSC for an update regarding your suggestion.  Thank you in advance for your suggestions and for respecting the privacy of those we invite to speak.
