Budget and Financial Update   

The generous support of FSC's friends and congregants remains evident this spring as we review inspiring pledge campaign results.  To date, 436 households have pledged $760,000 toward 2013 Church operations.  46% of pledges are either new or increased over 2012 levels, and an additional 41% of pledges are made at 2012 levels.  Our pledging to date represents 98$ of last year's pledge dollars, and we anticipate more pledges as the year progresses.  We also anticipate $45,000 in contributions of record, (charitable giving that is not pledged).  In recent years, this type of giving has increased about 10% annually.  During April, donors will receive 1st quarter statements of giving via mail.  Please be sure to check your statement and be in touch with our Accounting Manager, Melissa Hoezee, at either (616) 459-8386 ext. 212 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if you note any needed corrections.  Thank you for your generous support of FSC.  Your gifts provide much-needed resources to fund our 2013 goals of greater outreach, education, and diversity!
