At FSC, we take seriously the challenge to be as "green" as possible.  In recent years, we have attempted to lessen our collective carbon footprint by investing in greater efficiences for our aging heating and air conditioning systems, by changing from incandescent bulbs to CFL and LED lights wherever possible, and repairing leaky plumbing.  Recently, Church staff members have received questions about increasing Church efforts of recycling, as presently only office paper is recycled on a regular basis.  If you would like to be a part of a new group called the Environmental Council that will offer leadership and direction about the further "greening" of FSC, please contact Patrick Hamrick, Executive Minister, at either (616) 459-8386 ext. 219 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
