Infant through Kindergarten

Little Ones.JPGMinistry to and with our pre-school and kindergarten-aged children is the beginning of learning about religion, religious community, and religious leaders.  Through free play, dramatic play, stories, meditation, and even snack, young children can learn, grow, and explore.  We invite children to explore issues of fairness, kindness, service, and working with people who are different than them.

Child Care (All Ages)

A welcoming environment for all ages with lots of free play, books, and craft projects is offered to our children every Sunday morning.  During this time, the adults can choose to participate in various adult education classes.

Sundays, 9:30 a.m – 10:45 a.m., Room 203

Nursery (Birth to 2 Years)

Nursery care is offered for children from birth to age 2 each Sunday morning.  Our nursery care workers are CPR/AED-certified and 1st Aid Certified and will spend some quality time with your children.  The nursery is a light, airy, and welcoming space for our youngest congregants!

Sundays, 11:00 a.m – 12:15 p.m., Room 206

3-Year Olds

Silly smiles, lovely paintings, and first friendships are all part of our 3-year old classroom.  The children are introduced to each other and the FSC community through various books, games, and activities.  On some weeks they will tour the Church, learn about the different people that make up the Church, or learn about the holidays.  This is an amazing room to ask a lot of questions and wonder about the world!

Sundays, 11:00 a.m – 12:15 p.m., Room 201

Pre-K

The imaginations of 4 and 5-year olds are indefinite!  Our children engage through drama, paintings, games, and other activities in a wide variety of creative learning.  The investigation leads them to see the differences and similarities in each other, in their families, and in their abilities.  A full year of discoveries is ahead of them.  Let's come and join in!

Sundays, 11:00 a.m – 12:15 p.m., Room 203

Kindergarten

The world is a very big place with many different religions.  Our children will investigate various stories from the bible and other sacred texts through arts and crafts, drama, building, cooking, and much more!

Sundays, 11:00 a.m – 12:15 p.m., Room 204
