In December, Tower Club took a trip to the West Michigan Hindu Temple in Ada. Here's what they had to say:
"Fred Stella was a really great tour guide.....there was a ceremony happening when we were there where they poured milk, water, orange juice, and cottage cheese on a statue of Ganesh. A little strange, but very interesting!"
"The statues were cool."
"They were talking and singing in Sanskrit and it made it really interesting."
If you would like to learn more about Hinduism in West Michigan and connect with the Hindu community, please check out our Adult Spiritual Life & Learning offerings in March and April. They conclude with a visit to the temple! Can't wait that long? Start in January and February by encountering Islam and visiting the local Mosque and Institute.
