Connections - Spring 2014
Do you long to move beyond an ambivalent relationship with nature? Do you yearn for a way to tap into nature's healing powers? Do you sense that it's not only possible but essential to our well-being? Connections announces a return to a welcome theme for the Spring 9-Week Series: "Nurturing the Soul Through Nature." Using circle process, readings, experiential exercises, and encounters with nature, we will take the journey together. We invite you to join us in search of your own meanings, metaphors, and gifts to be found in nature....and in the company of others.
Two Sessions Offered:
Monday evenings from 6:15-8:30 p.m., March 17-May 12
Tuesday mornings from 9:15-11:30 a.m., March 18-May 13
Look for a sign-up table in the Social Hall on Sundays, February 23, March 2, and March 9. Groups are intentionally small, (6-8 participants). For additional information, please contact Barb Hoogterp at (616) 364-8303 or Jean Bahle at (616) 454-5736
Introduction to Connections
Monday evening from 5:45-8:15 p.m., March 10 - Food will be provided.
For newcomers, this is an opportunity to see what a Connections Group is like; it's also a chance for former Connections participants to reconnect. In other words, all are welcome! We will spend the evening exploring upcoming Series theme "Nurturing the Soul Through Nature." Attending the Introduction in now way obligates you to join the Series, and you can sign up for the Series without attending the Introduction. It's simply a way to gather, learn, and share.
